Week 18

Well this week was sooo interesting! hahahah It started out with my having my last days in Eagle with Sister Cardosa. It is hard saying goodbye to someone you spent three months with! We got so close during that short time! I learned so much from her and I am so thankful for that amazing first area! I know that I will take lessons i learned for that area and sister cardosa through my whole mission! We ended our transfer in eagle Making our next transfers planners with our faces on it hahahh! It is so cute, and we spent our P day saying goodbye to members and crying, and getting my byebye book signed. Then that night we had our last lesson in Eagle together where we taught Sergio. Sergio is awesome he has a baptismal date for January and has such a deep desire and curiosity to know more and get answers. We watched the rest DVD with him at a members home, and the members bore a powerful testimony of Joseph Smith! I know that truly the members are the true missionaries. When an investigator has that friendship and someone that they can rely on and ask questions to, and sit by at church, it is amazing!! i am thankful for the wonderful members all around the world that do so much and work so hard to help people be converted! Then on Monday we had transfers in Rifle! We got to have lunch and get FREE sonic! And then sister bricenos comp left to Denver and Sister black came with us to ride back to Eagle! Then we dropped them off and said goodbye and we drove for 2 hours to the middle of nowhere. I swear steamboat isn't even a real town. It is the cutest little ski town surrounded by mountains! I will send lots of pictures but it is breath taking and covered in snow! The perfect little Christmas town! Sister Briceno is awesome too she is so funny and sweet! She is so feisty and sassy too haahah! She definitely fights my fire with a fire of her own! We got to steamboat at like 5 so we shopped for groceries and went home and I unpacked in the adorable apartment here. Then we made our vision and goals for this transfer! I am getting excited to do the work here. It is kind of crazy to restart because you finally get the hang of it in your last area and then they kick you out hahah! But truly it will be great to learn so much and to teach and find those that are ready! Then on Wednesday We started with lots of service we got to help for the ward Christmas party and then I got to meet the bishop and ward mission leader. They are very excited about the work and it gets me even more excited, I already know the members here are going to be so helpful! Then Thursday we had district meeting! My district is very awesome! We have Craig elders and Craig sisters and Rangley elders, and then us. They are all super nice and so helpful. Our district leader Elder Affleck gave a training on how we can teach like Jesus Christ using parables, or examples. He did lots of object lessons and examples we can share to simplify our teaching it was super fun and I truly did learn a lot!  Then Friday is when it all went down!! Sister Briceno woke up with 6 big red dots on her skin. And we showed the Christensen's and found out that we have bed bugs hahah! So boringly enough we spend the rest of our week being exterminators and killing the little buggers. We used Poison a steamer, and washed everything we owned put it in a bag and threw it out in the blizzard. I hope that we killed the little buggers hahaha! I will keep you updated, we might still have holiday guests in our house for Christmas! But Its all good me and hermana briceno had fun doing laundry and killing them all and singing songs. And we watched the prophet of the restoration which made me bawl! EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH THIS! Bottom line is that this week was good but required a little more patience hahah! But I am getting excited for christmas and to see all of your sweet faces on Christmas!! I love you guys so much you are such an inspiracion to me. Please remember what Christmas is about. My dad emailed me and talked about him giving his talking on spending our time with him this Christmas! Be an example of Christ to everyone you meet, radiate his light, serve others, and I promise this holiday will be one to remember! I love you guys so much MERRY CHRISTMAS!

AND a huge shoutout to my sweet momma and Hermanita Bella! I hope you guys have amazing birthdays I love you guys so much and I am thankful for you every day!!!! ❤🎅💚💜💙
