Hola! This week has been amazing and completely crazy!! Monday night was my last night in Vail, and it was great to spend that night teaching and using all of the Spanish that I could!! And it was hard saying goodbye to everyone in Vail, I am not going to lie a few tears were shed! I just love everyone there so much!!! Then on Tuesday we woke up at 3:30 in the morning to head to the mission office for transfer meeting. And there I got to meet my Greenie. Her name is Sister Pelo, and she is from Midway, Utah, but her family moved to New york City when she was 16 so she has been living over there for a while! I am glad that she is used to the big city. I honestly don't even remember how to drive correctly!! There are so many stop lights, and It is all a little new and different! I am used to 1 stoplight in the whole town and round a bouts! But I haven't killed us yet so that is good! When we got to columbine Tuesday it was all pretty interesting, we started the day by cleaning the apartment, seeing an Elders apartment is something I never want to do again hahah! Then we went through the area book and started mapping the area! Then we went to town knocking doors. It is so interesting because I am convinced that everyone in Columbine is old and retired! haahah, We have met the sweetest old people in the world! It has been really great to be able to start with a blank slate and build from there. There is a lot of growth that is possible in this area! Me and Sister Pelo have just spent the whole week knocking doors getting to know members, and going and cleaning out the ward list. I wish I had something a little more exciting to tell you! But this week was just a week of hard work!! I am also trying to learn English again, which is fun hahah! I say everything in the wrong order, but its okay! Maybe one day I will be fluent in Spanish and English! This week on Thursday we also had the MLC meeting, with all of the mission leaders! It was amazing, we had a great training by Sister Gifford about Finding people to teach, and that is what we will be training on in Zone Conference! Then on Sunday we went to the Columbine ward, which is HUGE!! It is like a Utah ward, I am used to like 30 members of the ward! But the members here are large in number and mighty! It will be exciting to meet them all and work with them! On Sunday I met a Brother wheeler, and he asked me I f I knew a Travis Tams who served in Brazil! I said yes i do, that is my Dad! He was in my Dads MTC group, like 100 years ago in the mission field hahah! IT IS SUCH A SMALL WORLD! He told me that my Dad was an amazing missionary and he got a little teary eyed! I am glad that I come from a family with a tradition of believing! I loved talking with him about my dads mission stories! Sorry I didn't have much time this week! So my email is short! But training is amazing and this area is amazing! I love the mission so much! I am so thankful for every experience that I have had and continue to have! I love you all, have a great week!!
