Week 15

I hope that everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving this week! This week was probably the funnest week in my mission so far!! I love the holidays, and I love the snow! Okay lets see if I can explain everything that happened this week! On Monday for the rest of our P day we wanted to write letters by this Sylvan Lake in Eagle. And I ended up getting us lost so we wrote letters at a Dog park. Hahahahah! And then that night, we got to teach Danna again! She is awesome, she is such a sweet little girl and really has a desire to come closer to god and to learn. She has been praying every night, and it is my favorite thing to hear her prayers because they are so sincere and sweet! Then on Tuesday We tracted a lot and found some amazing mew people. This week I have really learned that the lord sends you where you need to be and to who you need to see. We taught this new family that we found and they are like a family of 7 and they are all really willing to learn, it is always exciting when you find awesome families. And we also taught Jorge who is amazing. Mom don't yell at me but I am going to tell the story of how we found him. We were walking at night to an investigators house and i saw a man walking alone with a hood on across the street. And I know that it is STRANGER DANGER! But I really got prompted that We needed to cross the street and talk to him. And so we did and he is amazing! We have now taught him like 3 times this week about the plan of Salvation. An he really told us that he is sad and that he needed to hear this message right now! So I promise i will never do something like that again, unless I AM SO PROMPTED! Hahahahah.....Then on Wednesday we had dinner with the LUNDEBURGS! I love them hahahah, they are seriously so nice and amazing members. They came up with this amazing idea to have a Christmas Party and Sing a long and make it specifically about missionary work. They are going to make invites for us to give to our investigators and they are going to have every member bring one non member! We are so lucky here in Eagle honestly. Everyone here really makes an effort to do missionary work, and they help us in anyway that they can! We are so excited for CHRISTMAS! And Sister Cardosa said that she had a revelation that we were both staying here for the holidays hahah! So lets hope she really is like Lehi! Then on THANKSGIVING, our day was amazing. We first went to district meeting and it was hardcore snowing. I was so happy!!!!! We finally got Winter Wonderland snow. And at district meeting we brought pumpkin pie and had amazing trainings. Then after we went home and we cooked Brother Whites dinner, it was so fun, and we were such a mess trying to make it!! We made mashed potatoes, and gravy, and stuffing, and heated up some premade chicken....(hahah there was no turkey) And we had pumpkin pie and apple pie! I will totally send you all of the pictures. Then that night we went over to Sister Molinars with Sister mendoza and all of there crazy family. It was so fun and the food was very good. The turkey even had a latina twist!!! I truly am thankful for the opportunity to eat with brother white and the molinars and mendozas. Thanksgiving was amazing and i truly am thankful for this mission experience. Then on Friday, we went out to Bair Ranch to help Grandma Bair set up Christmas, It was so fun and their ranch is huge and like a cabin. It reminds me of our cabin in Lava!!!! And sister Cardosa officially hit her 8 months. She is almost halfway done with her mission! ITS CRAZY!!! Then on Saturday we had an amazing lesson with Jorge again and with Danna an Leslie. And we had a miracle of free EKAHI! Ekahi is the best Hawaiian food ever and we got it for free!!! Then this whole day was filled with miracles, I got a Christmas tree from my mom, and we were so excited to decorate that we skipped lunch and decorated our apartment! Then that night we were helping veronica, this adorable little girl that looks like Lilo from Lilo and Stitch with Homework. Which really means she was helping us because i do not remember how to do any math. And Bishop Lyons texts me telling me that he is eating dinner with my parents. I was so happy to hear that my momma got to meet someone from Eagle. I know that  was a tender mercy from the lord! Then on Sunday we had amazing speakers in church about the Savior. I am so excited going into this Christmas Holiday and having the opportunity to share about his birth, his life, and his gospel. I am so thankful for this week and every week that I get to have in my mission! I am thankful for all of the miracles that I see every day and I am so excited for Christmas!
